Spiced Challah French Toast

My dad used to wake up every Sunday morning and make my family and I the most delicious french toast. It was his signature dish (actually, the only dish he made, shh don't tell him). The most crucial ingredient in this was the bread, a cinnamon twist bread he would get from the market. Then, he would let it dry out to make sure the bread soaked up the egg mixture. The cinnamon-y goodness and the memories I got from this dish inspired me to make my own version. I can only hope it lives up to my dad's.
