Hi, I’m Ariana!

I am a college student pursuing nutrition. My love for cooking and baking started fairly recently, at the age of 19. The COVID-19 pandemic had us inside all the time and thus, there wasn’t much to do. Although some of my friends wanted to learn TikTok dances, I took an interest in cooking after watching numerous Gordon Ramsay cooking videos on Youtube. I got in the kitchen, whipped up a quick dinner, and after that it was all history.

Not too long after, I started cooking meals from Bucatini all’Ametriciana to Bolognese to Pomegranate Glazed Salmon, I started branching out into baking. Of course I had made those cakes that come from a box before, but nothing homemade. Soon, I was beginning to make things like galettes, macarons, cream puffs, etc. and invited my friends and family to try some. It was quite amazing to me to see how much my skills improved in the matter of months, and they were blown away as well. My dream is to open up a bakery one day, and this blog is the best creative outlet for that.

My Mission

What I hope to do with Dining With Ariana is to create a platform that will inspire you all, to get comfortable in the kitchen one day, one recipe at a time. Food is what brings us together, and by creating meals that you and your family and friends will love, you will be able to share the simple joys of life with others. I also will create a means for you to play around with different ingredients and be creative in the kitchen. Therefore, I will make cooking very approachable and create blog posts that instead of being extremely wordy, focus on technique and tips and tricks along the way.

My Vision

My vision for this blog is to develop recipes that you guys can make in the kitchen that vary from savory, to sweet, and easy meals. I will also share tips and tricks I have learned along the way, how to take stellar food photos to grow your own business and passions, and other kitchen essentials. I want to build a community of fellow foodies and watch all of your guys’ confidence grow in the kitchen. As a result of this blog and the impact it has, I hope one day to open a bakery or restaurant. It’s truly a dream of mine, as well as making my own cookbook.
